On Sunday morning Joyce of JewelryWithMe.com updated her facebook status to say she was going to a flea market at the Piazza at Schmidt. I decided I wanted to go too, so we met up around 2pm and headed out to Northern Liberties.
The event was interesting and I met some very nice artists. I met one of my @DanielleJPhilly twitter people – @attila also known as Vincent Brown, and he scared me when he pulled out his huge camera. (I’m gonna need some warning next time, ok?) Anyway, I also met a fellow SCAD attendee who is about to start her senior year as an illustration major.
The craziest part of being down there was that the piazza was serving two groups of people at one time. One group was watching the World Cup finals on the huge outside tv, and the other group was the artists displaying their goods. The World Cup watchers would just randomly start screaming and it was a little distracting.
Joyce and I had a great time and we ended the day at her lovely home with a glass of her famous iced tea. Here are some of the snapshots I took as we roamed around.

Looks like fun.
