Finding my passion with a visionboard.
It’s the new year and everyone is talking about resolutions. I know I’m not about to lose any weight or join a gym, so I decided that my resolution this year is to find my passion.
I didn’t (and still don’t) have the first clue as to how I should go about finding my passion, but I decided to start by Googling “finding your passion”, and I found this link on Oprah.com “Steps to Finding Your Passion”.
I’m a sucker for bullet points so I skipped straight to step 3.
Step Three gives the following questions to consider:
* What interest, passion or desire are you most afraid of admitting to yourself and others?
* What do you love about yourself?
* Who do you know that’s doing something you’d like to do? Describe yourself doing it.
* How could you make the world a better place for yourself and others?
* What’s stopping you from moving forward with exploring your passion?
I’m going to take some time and think about these questions so that when I make my visionboard, I’ll already have some sort of focus.
Here are some examples of visionboards. These images belong to their respective owners, and I have linked to their sites.
I am trying to decide if I want to go the scissors, paper, and glue route, or if I want to go the digital route. I think it would be cool to have a visionboard page here on wordyless. We shall see…
So anyway, I hope this will help you to think about your goals and what you want to achieve in 2011.
