In a few weeks I will be heading to New York for BlogHer’12 and I am totally excited! I’ll be hanging out with The Cubicle Chick and approximately 4500 other blogging women. In the last few days I have been following the #BlogHer12 hashtag and noticing there are women who are posting what they will be wearing at the conference. Since other’s are posting their clothes, I’ve decided to post what I am going to wear. I got the idea from BrothaTech at the Blogging While Brown 2012 conference, and I don’t think he’ll mind if I copy him.
Here’s what I am planning to wear – this shirt (and of course some jeans, duh). Apparently, Vistaprint doesn’t think women like long sleeve t-shirts, so I am ordering a man’s shirt. Why do I want long sleeves? I read that BlogHer conference rooms are rather chilly and I don’t approve of being too cold.
I bet you’re wondering what I decided to put on my shirt. It’s basically my twitter profile on a shirt. The back has the same information, but one hashtag on each line. Why my twitter profile? Well, because I think it’s actually pretty good! It has my website and my interests (and my degree) on it. It also has my twitter profile picture on it so that people will be able to remember my partially obscured face from the conference.
Why do I have the feeling I won’t be the only one wearing this shirt? At least their information will be different. I hope.
What do you think of my shirt idea?
