I have style, yes I do!
I have style, how about you?
*cheers*
*high leg kick*
*shakes pom poms*
Look, I know I wear jeans every day, and I know people are probably tired of seeing them – but I’m comfortable! (I am also lazy, but we won’t go there.)
I have style – I just don’t display it. Clothes shopping is one of the most torturous sports ever created. I hate walking around the mall looking at clothes I think are hideous. I hate trying on clothes. I hate spending money on clothes.
Now that I’ve gotten all of my hate out of the way (for now), let me show you what I like. The following images display my favorites list from the Shop Style app on my iPad. Creating these favorites wasn’t easy for me. I became agitated while staring at so many options of unworthy attire.
First, when it comes to my living space, I am of two minds: warm and colorful, and cool and refined. I also have a thing for masculine library/office spaces – dark wood, dark green, books, a fireplace, and reading lights.
Damask – I love damask wallpaper and I plan to have some in my future dwelling space. Not all damask is created equal though; I found that out by searching google images for examples. Smh. Not equal at all.
The plates – the plates are casual and unique. I really like them. Did you know you can get plates with images of women’s faces on them? It’s like “Surprise! You’ve finished your meal and I am staring at you in judgement.” Um, no thank you. There were too many of these faces to choose from in the search results. I do not approve.
The clothes and purses – This is my style. There’s not much more I can say about it.

Now, you didn’t think I’d wrap up this post without a full on rant did you?
Wedge heeled shoes.
WEDGE HEELED SHOES!
I hate this style of shoe more than I hate clothes shopping. Why do women want to wear these heinous shoes? (Ha! I typed hideous and my iPad changed it to heinous. Who am I to begrudge it an opinion on these shoes?) For as long as it took me to search for the clothes, purses, and furniture, it took the inverse of that amount of time (is that possible?) to pick out 9 pairs of ugly wedge shoes. Can you tell me these shoes are cute? Can you? Huh? I’ll be waiting over here, but I won’t be holding my breath.

Ok, so maybe you don’t have an iPad but you want to shop online and share your favorites with me. Shop Style has a website ShopStyle.com and maybe you want to show me a pair of wedge heeled shoes that aren’t truly ugly (I doubt you can though.)
If you do have an iPad, you can find the app in iTunes Shop Style App.
