There’s nothing like waking up from a dream about sending out an embarrassing email to vendors and coworkers across the country, AND somehow having your G+ community respond TO ALL in the email with advice. (Thanks guys
)
I woke up freaking out that I had actually sent out the email. OMG! OMG!
Also, last Monday night I dreamed of work related statistics. I dreamed of red numbers and blue numbers and yellow numbers as I tried to solve a problem. Do you know what this means? No? It means…
It’s time for a vacation!
Obviously my dreams are trying to tell me that my work and life are out of balance right now. I have some vacation time coming up, but I cannot decide on a destination. I always want to go north to Philly/NYC, but it’s too cold right now. I have also thought about going to Miami in the south (expensive), to Chicago in the midwest (cold), and to Arizona in the west (far away).
I have thought about taking a cruise. (um, have you seen the news lately?)
I have thought about taking the train. (This is still an option.)
I have thought about driving. (This is always an option.)
What should I do? Which do I choose? Where do I go?
For now I’ll just remember the mini 2 night vacation I took with my cousin for her New Year’s birthday treat. We stayed at The Saint Hotel in New Orleans. The hotel is unique, right at Bourbon Street, and I would stay there again. The only thing I didn’t like was the price of breakfast. Next time I’ll just get McGrits from McDonald’s across the street.
