When I’m in the kitchen there’s always a possibility of me ruining a perfectly happy piece of raw meat. (See g+ post about the steak I cooked that smelled like sausage.) Anyway…this time I focused on the task at hand and made some perfectly edible burgers. See the picture below? Isn’t my burger beautiful? And before you ask – yes,… Read more →
There’s that awkward moment when you’re standing in the grocery store and you can’t remember if you own a can opener. This is an awkward moment for everyone, right? RIGHT? Ok, so maybe it’s just me. However, my solution to my need for tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste was to purchase the items in boxes. I’m thinking boxed… Read more →
I stopped by this cupcake shop on my way to Target. Ok, so it’s not a cupcake shop; it’s a Taqueria with a cupcake display inside. The outside is quite deceiving and the inside smells like meat and beans.
Anyway…I got the turtle cupcake, and I am hoping to being pleasantly surprised when I get home.
I found them and I’m going to try them. Interestingly, they also had dill pickle flavor, but I turned my nose up at them.

What can you expect to find in downtown Atlanta? 1. You can find Le French Quarter Cafe, it’s a tiny place where they serve various sandwiches and a pretty good cupcake (even though the icing looks scary). I asked for a grilled cheese with chicken added. My bread wasn’t really toasted, so it was really a chicken sandwich with melted… Read more →
*cues Julie Andrews* These are a few of my favorite things Last night I went shopping and picked up a few food items for the house. I posted a picture, but I don’t need you to make fun of my refrigerator and freezer. I know my cupboards are bare! I keep very little food in my apartment because it forces… Read more →
This has got to be the largest margarita I’ve ever been given in my life. I hope the food arrives soon.
Soybeans are of the devil. I’m tempted to let that one sentence be the entirety of this post – because really, it says it all. Soybeans are of the devil and I cannot eat them. Did you know that soybeans (in one form or another) are in almost every prepackaged food out there? (This is totally an opinion statement as… Read more →
