Life imitating art? Movies about food

On Saturday, I decided to try out the Instant Queue feature on Netfix, and ended up watching several movies with a cooking theme.

First, I watched Julie and Julia. It’s a cute movie. I enjoyed watching the movie much better than reading the book, but that’s only because the Julie character seemed more likable in the movie. Meryl Streep as Julia Child was wonderful. She really played the part well and I enjoyed all of her scenes. By the end of the movie, I was wanting to wear pearls, high heels, and a frilly apron.
