When I’m in the kitchen there’s always a possibility of me ruining a perfectly happy piece of raw meat. (See g+ post about the steak I cooked that smelled like sausage.) I only like to cook under certain circumstances, which generally means I am going to cook for someone else. Now, I have a reason to cook for me.
